Before I called Ms Hartley’s office, I extensively researched best attorney in Ventura county and was impressed with Ms Hartley. The receptionist after consulting with Ms Hartley was able to bring me in same day after listening to my call of desperation and confusion about divorce process.
When I met Ms Hartley, I felt an immediate relieve that I made the right decision to hire her for my divorce case. Ms Hartley and staff were very welcoming, compassionate, empathetic and understanding. Ms Hartley was attentive and very knowledgeable of family laws. She helped me set realistic expectations and directed me to make decisions in the best interest of my children and not use my emotions.
I had a very rough case as my ex and his four attorneys at different times (yes he changed 4 attorneys in the past 5 years) thought of every trick in the book and unreasonably raised issues to increase litigation costs. Ms Hartley made extensive effort to reduce costs by negotiating in my children and I best interest while empowering me.
Ms Hartley really cares for her clients. She is tough in court and fights fairly and sensibly. I have been through unbearable five years of divorce process but Ms Hartley has always been by my side to help me through it all. If I were given the option to turn back time, I would still choose Ms Hartley as my attorney.
